Tomorrow on Turner Classic Movies: Claude Rains (kind of) reprises his role as Mr. Jordan in this enjoyable dramatic-comedy-fantasy, also starring Paul Muni, and Anne Baxter. Now, Rains is playing for the other team. He’s The Devil, and he wants to put deceased gangster Muni into a crusading judge’s body to de-rail his political career. Set your DVR!

TCM Watch: The Connection (1961)

TONIGHT ON TURNER CLASSIC MOVIES: Shirley Clarke’s 1961 mockumentary about a collection of junkies waiting to get high is a landmark of independent cinema. Enigmatic jazz pianist and composer Freddie Redd wrote the music and his quartet is featured throughout, including the great Jackie McLean on alto sax. Bravo to TCM for screening this gem!
